CAS Prof Receives Western Green Award

American Studies 1020 instructor, Professor Tom Cull received special recognition at the 2013 Western Green Awards held on April 8. A year ago, Professor Cull founded the Thames River Rally, an organization dedicated to the cleanup of the Thames River. The story was featured in the April 11 edition of the Western News. Ben Muller Presents at Berlin Conference

Benjamin Muller (Political Science, King’s) presented his recently published chapter, “Borderworld: Biometrics, AVATAR and Global Criminalization,” in F. Pakes, ed., Globalisation and the Challenge to Criminology (London: Routledge, 2012): 129-145, at the EastBorderNet conference, “Relocating Borders: A Comparative Approach,” in Berlin, Germany this past weekend.  His presentation focused on the use and development of border technologies in the Sonoran Borderlands of Sonora, Mexico and Arizona, USA.
